The Councilor for Festivals, Javier Caraballero, encouraged people to “participate in an event, in which, not only will they see the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival poster, but they will also have the opportunity to enjoy an appetizer from our festival.” , and added “it is the perfect opportunity for all carnival-goers and carnival-goers to experience a Carnival night and take advantage, if they want, to come dressed up.”

“Sintoniza Santa Cruz” will host from 7:30 p.m. the presentation of the Carnival 2024 poster under a striking multimedia formula, in which live performances by the Rambuesa Orchestra, Pepe Benavente and other Canarian artists who will review the band are also planned. sound of the Santacrucero carnival for two hours.

On October 2, the voting period opened to choose the poster announcing the 2024 carnival and ends on this Friday. The consultation is exclusively through the web www.carnavaldetenerife.com and will remain open until 11:59 p.m., allowing only one vote per IP address and without references to the authorship of the proposal or the support collected during the process.

The process began after the ten finalist works were preselected by the jury made up of the two-time winner of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival poster and designer of the set design for the 2024 edition, Nareme Melián; the Queen of the 2023 Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Adriana Peña; the illustrator and specialist in printing and engraving, Patricia Delgado; the president of the Valkirias rondalla, Vicky López and the designer and illustrator, Iván Retamas.

This preselection has a weight of 60% in the final ranking and the popular vote will have a value of 40% of the total. The final result will be obtained after the sum of both qualifications.
