SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 18 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A Maritime Rescue vessel intercepted a canoe with 91 migrants sailing in the waters of Tenerife on Wednesday afternoon and was accompanied to the port of Los Cristianos, sources from 112 Canarias report, stating that one person was referred to a health center.
This is the sixth boat to arrive at the archipelago since Tuesday night with just over 600 migrants on board who have made landfall in El Hierro, Lanzarote – on two occasions – and Tenerife, with two canoes and a boat.
