VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), Oct. 17 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A second canoe arrived this Tuesday at the port of La Restinga, in El Hierro, with 212 migrants on board, according to sources from the Red Cross and 112 Canarias.
A total of 199 men, seven women and six minors were traveling on the boat, all of sub-Saharan origin, and after the assistance received at the dock, one of the men was transferred to a health center.
Since Monday night, the Canary Islands have received the arrival of six boats to the islands of Tenerife, El Hierro, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura with almost 700 people on board.
