The City Council of Arafo has announced that the water in the municipality is suitable again for consumption in its entirety.
After having received and confirmed that there is no presence of Clostridium perfringensthe health authority has lifted consumption restrictions in the affected area.
“The corrective measures have made it possible to solve the restriction. Water analyzes have been carried out daily, obtaining negative values for the presence of the bacteria in all samples,” the Consistory reported.
Starting today, the entire population of Arafo can once again consume tap water for drinking or cooking without restrictions.
