Air quality is “extremely unfavorable” due to the haze in the Canary Islands

Air quality indices indicate that they are “extremely unfavorable” due to the haze episodein areas of Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and south of Gran Canaria and Tenerife.

Regarding high temperatures, AEMET predictions indicate that 34ºC may be reached or exceeded in the medians and southern and western slopes of the islands.

Furthermore, minimum temperatures remain unusually high for this time of year, with general values ​​between 20 and 25ºC, except in the peaks of Tenerife and The Palm.
