Molina Sport faces the first Canarian derby against Arona Tenerife Guanches

He Club Molina Sport faces his third league commitment with his homework done. The team led by Kevin Mooney arrive for tomorrow’s appointment at Carlos García San Román Sports Center (8:00 p.m.) after winning their first two league games. Edu Cabalin (5), Chuck Baldwin (4) and Kevin Mooney (4), already lead the scoring table andin the Elite League.

Opposite the yellows they will find a Arona Tenerife Guanches that will try to snatch hegemony from its rival both in the Archipelago and at the national level. The Tenerife team are second, with the same six points as their rival, after defeating Tres Cantos (4-5) and doing the same at home with Barcelona Tsunamis on the last day (7-3).

Chuck Baldwin’s brother, Eric, is the Guanches’ main offensive force, with 4 goals scored so far.

The winner of the Canarian derby will lead the top category alone.

Dani Gutiérrez: “Guanches, like us, have won their two games”

He spanish international Dani Gutiérrez acknowledges that the team “is very excited, we have all been talking about the fact that a very exciting game is coming because we are facing Guanches, which is the team from Tenerife, who have also won the first two games like us.”

“We want to show the fans that we continue playing at last year’s level and that we want to win as many titles as possible,” declares the Molina Sport player.

Gutiérrez hopes to have “all our fans this Saturday to enjoy with us what the Canarian derby is going to be, because we are ahead in the table only because of the goal average and in the end they, like us, have won their two games and count the same”.
