The haze at altitude leaves the Canary Islands this Wednesday

The haze at altitude will predominate this Wednesday in Canary Islands until noon, according to Aemet. In the sea there will be east or northeast 4 or 5, locally 6 on northwest and southeast coasts, except variable 2 to 4 in the northeast near the coast. Swell or strong swell. On the west coast, variable 2 or 3 and ripples or swells. North or northwest swell of 1 or 2 meters.

PREDICTION BY ISLANDS FOR THIS WEDNESDAY:

Intervals of high clouds. Calima that will affect the midlands and summits more significantly during the first half of the day. Temperatures without changes or slightly rising. 35-36 ºC will be exceeded on the west, south and southeast slopes (including the coasts), as well as in the basin of Tejeda. The minimum temperatures will barely drop below 25ºC, hovering around 28ºC in the south. Moderate northeast wind on coasts. In the midlands and summits, a moderate eastern component with strong intervals on the southern and northwest slopes where very strong gusts are not ruled out during the early hours of the morning.

Maximum temperatures in slight decrease, minimum temperatures with hardly any changes. Temperatures will exceed 34ºC in the interior, and occasionally on the south and west coast. Moderate northeast wind, which in interior areas and west-facing slopes will turn to an easterly component with strong intervals during the early morning and late hours of the day.

Moderate wind from the northeast, which in inland areas and the west coast will turn to an easterly component with strong intervals in the early morning and late hours of the day, and where locally very strong gusts are not ruled out.

In the south it may locally reach 36 ºC. Moderate northeast wind on coasts, somewhat more intense in extreme northwest and southeast. In the midlands and summits, moderate wind from the east with strong intervals on the southeastern slope and northwest façade (between Tacoronte to Santa Úrsula), where occasionally very strong gusts are not ruled out during the early hours of the morning.

The maximum temperatures will exceed 34 ºC on the southeast, south and west slopes. Moderate northeast wind on coasts. In the midlands and summits, moderate wind from the north at dawn with intervals of strong and probable very strong gusts on the southwest and southeast slopes that may exceed 70 km/h, turning in the morning to the east component without ruling out very strong gusts in the west.

It will exceed 34 ºC in the west. Moderate to strong wind from the northeast on the coasts, somewhat more intense in the extreme southeast and northwest. In the midlands and summits, strong wind from the east with probable gusts that reach or exceed 70 km/h on the southwest slope and in El Golfo.
