The heat and haze give no respite to the Canary Islands this Tuesday

The haze, more significant in the second half of the day, and the heat, with temperatures rising slightly and that could exceed 34 degrees in certain points of Canary Islandswill remain this Tuesday on the islands, which They are still on yellow warning due to high maximumson a day that presents intervals of high clouds in general.

As predicted by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the wind will blow moderately from the northeast on the coasts, with strong intervals in the northwest and southeast corners of the mountainous islands. In the midlands and summits, a moderate eastern component with strong intervals.

Regarding the state of the sea, the wind will blow from the northeast with force 4 or 5, increasing to 6 in certain points of the Canary coast, where there will be swells increasing to strong swells in general. Northwest swell of around one meter high.

Temperatures without changes or slightly rising. In the south and west the rise may be moderate. 34-35 ºC will be exceeded on the west, south and southeast slopes (including the coasts), as well as in the basin of Tejeda. The minimum temperatures will barely drop below 25º C. Moderate wind from the northeast on the coasts, with strong intervals on the southeast and northwest slopes. In the midlands and summits, moderate easterly wind with strong intervals.

Moderate wind from the northeast with strong intervals, which in inland areas will turn to an easterly component during the central hours of the day.

The maximum temperatures will exceed 30-32 ºC in the south and west, without ruling out reaching 34 ºC. Moderate northeast wind on the coast, with strong intervals in the extreme east and west. In the midlands and summits, moderate wind from the east. Breezes on southern coasts.
