The new public parking located at the head of the Las Teresitas beachin Saint Andrew, and that has 302 places parking lot, has been operational since yesterday.
Specifically, the space has 259 spaces for light vehicles, 29 for motorcycles, seven for vehicles for people with reduced mobility, four modules of six spaces for bicycles, and one space for Local Police and Emergencies.
The works, through the Public Services area of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Councilhave had a budget of more than 357,000 euros and have consisted of paving and asphalting the land, installing a lighting and signaling system, as well as providing 35 light points that are powered by solar energy.
In addition, the councilor of the Area, Carlos Tarife, indicated that “this is a point that could have other uses such as, for example, to events and concerts”.
