SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, September 24 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A cayuco with 19 sub-Saharan occupants, including four minors, arrived this Sunday morning at the Los Cristianos Pier, in the municipality of Arona (Tenerife).
According to Salvamento Marítimo, the immigrants were located near Marina de San Miguel, so the Salvamar Alpheratz accompanied the irregular vessel to the nearest port.
Once on land, the occupants of the canoe were assisted by the health device made up of the Canary Islands Emergency Service and the Red Cross, all of them being in apparent good health and without any transfer to hospital centers being necessary.
