The Mayor of Santiago del Teide, Emilio Navarro, recently signed the act of commencement of the works of the complementary project to the remodeling project of the Buganvilla square in Acantilado de Los Gigantes, for whose action € 200,000 of funds will be allocated municipal.
The works to be carried out are mainly the following:
1- Jacaranda Passage Remodeling that were not included in the initial project and which is considered necessary because it is part of the square since it gives access to the central area. In it, repaving works will be carried out, including demolition of the existing pavement, the necessary earthworks and drainage to rainwater.
2- Remodeling of the Tulipán Passage, interior passage that connects the Tarajal and Drago passages. In this passage, resurfacing works will be carried out, including the demolition of the existing pavement, drainage to rainwater and the placement of lighting. In addition, the water supply installation of the houses in this passage will be replaced since its installation does not adapt to the current applicable regulations.
