Tenerife blood donors will be able to get tickets to watch football matches at the Heliodoro



The Canarian Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy and the Tenerife Sports Club are going to give blood donors the possibility of obtaining one of the twelve tickets that will be distributed randomly for the matches that the Tenerife team plays at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium.

This initiative seeks to thank and value the act carried out by blood donors, essential for the health system, the ICHH has reported.

People who come to donate to any mobile unit or fixed point of the ICHH will be able to obtain, at random, tickets for the games that the club plays on the island.

The president of the ICHH, Gemma Torres, held a meeting with the president of CD Tenerife, Paulino Rivero, in which she thanked the Tenerife club for this gesture of generosity towards blood donors. The president of CD Tenerife offered his collaboration in the promotional actions launched to promote blood donation.

The basic requirements to donate blood are to be between 18 and 65 years old (up to 60 if it is your first donation), weigh more than 50 kilos, enjoy good general health and not be pregnant. The ICHH has a self-assessment questionnaire on its website with which to check if you can donate blood.

To donate blood you can go directly to the mobile unit or make an appointment by calling 012 or 922 470 012 (option 8), from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. or by completing the appointment form.

Fixed points in Tenerife

In Santa Cruz de Tenerife you can donate blood all year round at the ICHH headquarters on Méndez Núñez Street, 14, corner of Pí and Margall. Summer hours are Monday to Friday from 9:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and from 3:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (except holidays). It has a ford for donors.

In the north of the island, the fixed point located on the first floor of the El Trompo Shopping Center in La Orotava (sector 10, Las Arenas, exit 36 ​​of the TF-5, next to China Town), will open this week exceptionally on Monday and Tuesday from 10:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday from 5:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday from 10:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m.: 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

As for the south of Tenerife, you can donate at the San Isidro Health Center, located at Arguayoda Street, nº 2, in Granadilla de Abona, throughout the summer, from Monday to Thursday from 2:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. hours and Fridays from 8:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (except holidays). This point has a parking space reserved for donors.

Regarding the fixed points of the Canary Transfusion Network, you can donate without an appointment at the Canary Islands University Hospital from Sunday to Friday and holidays from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. 2:30 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and at the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., except holidays.

You can also donate at Hospiten Bellevue in Puerto de la Cruz, at 6 Deutsche Street, by appointment 922 385 235 (option 1), Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (except holidays).
