La Orotava honors the “heroes” of the fire

The La Orotava City Council pays tribute to the people who worked in the Forest Crown fire of Tenerife, which affected this municipality. He did so during an event that was held yesterday in the plenary hall of the City Council. The local institution thanked the work of all the security forces, operations, institutions, entities, associations and groups, as well as the numerous volunteers and neighbors who contributed their bit. During the event, In addition to a letter of thanks, they were given a gift to recognize their work, professionalism and dedication. Mayor, Francisco Linaresassured that the people of La Orotava “will never forget everything they have done” and applauded “all those heroes who fought directly against the fire, avoiding greater losses.”
