The Canary Islands receive 7.9 million international tourists until July with an expenditure of 11,386 million, 17.9% more

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE/MADRID, September 1 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Canary Islands have received a total of 9.7 million international tourists in the first seven months of the year, which is 16.3% more than in the same period of the previous year, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE). public this Friday, which also indicate that spending grew by 17.9% and rose to 11,386 million.

At the national level, Spain received 47.6 million international tourists in the first seven months of the year, which represents an increase of 20.9% compared to the same period of the previous year and with an expenditure that amounts to 59,964 million euros, a 25.3% higher than the previous year.
