The acting Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, has appealed this Thursday to “not prejudge” the actions of the Administrative Court of Sports (TAD) and the jurisdictional bodies in relation to the non-consensual kiss of the president of the Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, to the national team player, Jenni Hermoso.
In statements to journalists on the occasion of a visit to Tenerife to assess the damage from the forest fire, he said that Rubiales’ action has been “very regrettable” but at the same time he said that it is necessary to let the TAD decide.
“We are going to let everyone work calmly, to the TAD, to the jurisdictional bodies, I do not like to talk about sanctions, let the TAD be the one to say and assess the corresponding sanctions,” she responded when questioned about the lack of updating of the sanctioning regime of the Sports Law.
