
SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 28 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The General Directorate of Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands, based on the application of the Special Plan for Civil Protection and Emergency Attention for Forest Fires of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands (Infoca) has terminated the alert for the risk of forest fire in the western islands and Gran Canaria.
In the case of Tenerife, the area affected by the forest fire is maintained at level one, in such a way that the management is the responsibility of the Cabildo de Tenerife.
