The Cabildo de Tenerife has asked not to access the forest areas of the island to facilitate the work of firefighting teams.
As reported by the Island Corporation, the resources against the fire that began on August 15 continue to work to control the fire.
For its part, the Directorate of the Canary Islands Plan for Civil Protection and Emergency Attention due to Forest Fires (INFOCA) decided yesterday Saturday to withdraw the seaplanes of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (Miteco) due to the evolution of the forest fire in Tenerife, that maintains the entire perimeter consolidated and insured.
The fire was technically stabilized last Thursday after 48 hours had elapsed without its perimeter having been expanded.
