SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 26 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Since the start of the forest fire that began on August 15 on Mount Arabo (Tener), air resources have discharged more than 11.97 million liters of water.
This has been reported by the Government of the Canary Islands, which adds that, specifically, the helicopters and planes that have operated during the last ten days have made more than 6,591 downloads.
The fire currently has the entire perimeter consolidated as reported by the Directorate of the Canary Islands Civil Protection and Emergency Attention Plan for Forest Fires (ENFOCA), although reactivations continue to occur within the perimeter area and many hot spots remain, especially in the northern part of the affected area.
For its part, the fire is stabilized, which means that it evolves within the control lines established according to the forecasts and that the extinction work is directed towards control.
