The security forces highlight the coordination and citizen collaboration during the fire

The security forces have highlighted this Monday the coordination that they have maintained during these six days that lasts the fire unleashed last Tuesday in Tenerifeas well as citizen collaboration in evictions, which have made it possible to fulfill the main purpose of the emergency device, to ensure people’s lives.

The Armed Institute has maintained a “steady effort” through much of this 220-troop emergencywith heights of 270 at specific moments, also counting on reinforcements from the Command of the palms and other parts of the Peninsula.

A helicopter has also participated in these firefighting tasks to coordinate flights.

Both the general and the superior chief of the National Police in the Canary IslandsJesús María Gómez Martínez, have wanted emphasize that there have been no serious incidents by the public.

The National Police has arranged 75 human troops on average daily, including specialized units for this type of situation that have worked morning, afternoon and night.

For his part, the deputy commissioner of the Canary Islands Police, Jesús González Gutiérrez, has indicated that his body has arranged on the ground an average of 45 troops each day in different shifts, which have carried out more than 900 interventions and 700 evacuationsalso of animals.

The chief officer of the Arafo Local Police, Víctor Borges Velázquez, also participated in the press conference, who stressed the “impeccable and unpolluted” collaboration that the different local security forces of the municipalities affected by the fire and the adjoining
