The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecast for this saturday a day of heat and haze for Canary Islands, with temperatures that could reach up to 34 degrees, reaching 30º C in large areas of the Archipelago.

In fact, Aemet has decreed the yellow warning for high temperatures between 11:00 in the morning and 6:00 in the evening on all the islands, with the entry, in addition, of saharan dust in height that will be noticed more intensely in the afternoon.

The sky will remain slightly cloudy or clear in general, with intervals of medium clouds, especially in the afternoon-night, accompanied by some isolated showers in inland areas of Gran Canaria and Tenerife.

Temperatures will remain unchanged or slightly rising, which will be more marked in the south of Gran Canaria and in the western islands. In fact, it could reach 34 ºC in points in the interior south and west of Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Gomera and in the interior of the south of Fuerteventura.

As far as the wind is concerned, it will blow from the moderate northeast, somewhat more intense on the southeast and northwest slopes of the islands.

Regarding the state of the sea, winds of the north or northeast component of force 4 or 5 are expected in a large part of the waters of the Archipelago, with storm surge or strong storm surge in much of the southern and eastern coasts of the islands.
