The fire has taken a breather this Friday by normalizing its progress since early morning after a few days of unusual behavior, although it is still uncontrolled and already affects nine municipalities.
This normalization has allowed the firefighting teams to contain the head of the fire in La Esperanza and lift the confinement of 3,820 people, although it remains for 1,671.
Until the next evaluation of the situation, the fire has consumed an area of more than 3,700 hectares and a perimeter of 41.9 kilometers and covers the municipalities of Arafo, Candelaria, El Rosario, La Victoria, La Matanza, Tacoronte, Santa Úrsula, El Sauzal and La Orotava.
