Four people have been injured in the last few hours after being rescued in a hurry when they were bathing on two different beaches in Tenerife. On the one hand, a 25-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were moderately injured this Saturday when they found themselves in trouble while bathing in the natural pools of Los Abrigos, within the municipality of Granadilla de Abona.
On the other hand, a 45-year-old man and a 25-year-old boy had to be rescued this Saturday afternoon when they found themselves in trouble when they were bathing about 20 meters from the coast of Playa San Marines, within the municipality of Candelaria.
In the event in Granadilla de Abona, a Maritime Rescue helicopter rescued the man, while the woman was helped by bathers who were in the area and who managed to take her to the shore. In the case of Candelaria, lifeguards from the Beach Rescue Service managed to rescue both affected, who suffered moderate symptoms of near-drowning.
