Maritime Rescue rescued this Friday morning a cayuco with 60 migrants when they were sailing about seven miles from Los Cristianos, in the tenerife island.
As reported by the state rescue agency, it was the Bencomo Express ship that sighted the irregular vessel, which is why the Salvamar Alpheratz was activated, which accompanied the cayuco to port.
There, the usual sanitary device in these cases, made up of Red Cross and Canary Emergency Service (SUC), which assisted migrants without requiring any transfer to hospitals.
