SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Six people, including a 4-year-old boy, have been injured to varying degrees in a traffic accident that occurred today Saturday on the Autopista del Norte (TF-5), as it passes through the municipality of La Guancha, in Tenerife, according to The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2 has reported.
The event occurred minutes before 1:00 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing that there had been a collision of several vehicles on the TF-5 and the subsequent overturning of one of them. them, resulting in injuries to several people.
The Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and a sanitary ambulance and two basic life support ambulances from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), members of the Fire Consortium, Civil Guard and personnel from the Island Highway Center traveled to the scene.
SUC personnel provided medical assistance to all the injured at the scene of the incident. Members of the Consortium of Firefighters secured the vehicles, the Civil Guard regulated traffic in the area and ordered the corresponding procedures, and the personnel of the Insular Highway Center proceeded to clean the road.
The injured are a 22-year-old girl, who at the initial moment of assistance presented moderate upper limb trauma; a 47-year-old woman who suffered moderate neck pain; a 49-year-old man, also with moderate neck pain; a 50-year-old woman, who had minor injuries, and a woman of unknown age and a four-year-old child.
