SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Neighborhood Association of the Historic Center of La Laguna, in collaboration with the City Council through the Festival Area, will celebrate the fourteenth Photographic Marathon on September 2 and 3, with a theme linked to the area of ​​the city center.

Registration for the contest will be free and participation must be requested at avcascolaguna@gmail.com on September 1 and 2, until 12:00 p.m., or in person on Saturday, September 2, between 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., at La Carrera street, in front of the headquarters of the old Nava La Salle School.

The mayor of La Laguna, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, wanted to invite all those who love photography and the city of La Laguna to participate in this traditional initiative. “We see in the different social networks the very high quality of the photographs taken of the lagoon area, both by professional and amateur photographers, and this is an excellent opportunity for those images that are presented to be eligible for awards and to be subsequently exhibited together with the of the Exhibition of Old Photographs Zenón the Photographer”, he pointed out.

The exhibition will take place between September 7 and 14, also on La Carrera street, in front of the headquarters of the old Nava La Salle College. There will be three prizes. one of 200 euros for the first classified, another of 100 euros for the second and a third prize of 50 euros for the third classified.

The jury will be established by the Association of Neighbors of the Historic Center and is expected to decide and deliver the different prizes on Saturday, September 9, at 12:00, at the exhibition venue.
