The 10 best beaches in Tenerife

Tenerife leaves no one indifferent. The island with the largest surface area in the Canary Islands arouses emotions due to its four cardinal points and within them its wide catalog of beaches.

tripadvisor has made a list of the 10 best beaches in Tenerifeaccording to the preferences of the travelers, a classification that is carried out taking into account the data of the tourist platform itself, the opinions, the scores, the photos and the popularity index.

However, each person has their beach and their ranking of favorite beaches, which does not have to coincide with the opinion of TripAdvisor users. Why stay with just one favorite beach if you have a range to choose from on the coast of Tenerife?

1.Duque Beach (Adeje)

Of amazing turquoise waters and golden sandPlaya del Duque is ideal to enjoy a bath during a wonderful day at the beach in the company of the whole family. 2.Las Teresitas Beach (Santa Cruz de Tenerife)

5.El Bollullo Beach (La Orotava)

9.Garden Beach (Puerto de la Cruz)

Garden Beach is one of the most famous beaches in the north of the island of Tenerife. Designed in the nineties by the Lanzarote artist César Manrique, is a beach created to guarantee the rest of the visitor. Just accessing the beach through the native flora gardens, along paths between stone walls and waterfalls, is quite a trip to start a relaxing day on a beach with all the services and magnificent views of the Teide volcano.

Divided into three sections, it is made of black sand: Castillo Beach, Charcón Beach and Punta Brava Beach. It has a side breakwater to protect it from the waves, although it preserves open areas to allow surfing.

10.La Tejita Beach (Granadilla de Abona)

It is one of the longest beaches (one kilometer) in Tenerife. It is located in the coastal center of El Médano. The nudist area is located in a small cove at the foot of La Montaña Roja.
