He Council of Tenerife will proceed today Tuesday to closure of one lane of highway TF-24 (La Esperanza road) to carry out construction work on the Padre Anchieta pedestrian walkway.
The works imply the partial occupation of the TF-24 in its right lane and the closure of the left lane from PK0+000 to PK 1+000. The work will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and will last from Tuesday to Thursday, August 3.
As alternative routes, traffic will be diverted in the direction of the Padre Anchieta junction in the direction of the Padre Anchieta roundabout via the TF-265 and in the direction of Santa Cruz via the new direct access branch from the TF-24 to TF-5 that has been recently built.
STABILIZATION OF THE SLOPE OF THE TF-82
On the other hand, the Cabildo will finish the stabilization works of the slope of the TF-82 at PK 46+770, in the municipality of Adeje, this Wednesday, August 2. The works will consist of shotgunning by compressive concrete projection with total average thicknesses of 10-12 cm, which will resolve the existing landslides on said slope.
In order to carry out said works, it will be necessary to completely cut the roadway of the TF-82 between PP.KK 46+ 550 to 47+050. Its execution has been planned during the day (from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). For traffic cuts and diversions, the necessary beacons and signage will be available.
TF-1 LIGHTING
Likewise, improvement works will be carried out to guarantee adequate lighting at KP 6+200 of the southbound TF-1. The work to be carried out will consist of crossing lighting pipes, which will provide better visibility of the area at night.
For the works, three lanes of the four existing ones on the TF-1, PK 6+200 Southbound, will be cut, making way for the free lane, today, Tuesday, August 1, and tomorrow, Wednesday, August 2.
On Thursday, August 3, the right road will be completely cut off in the south through the ring roads located at PK 5+920 and 8+200, making it necessary to drive on the left road and exit 7 of El Rosario, La Campana, El Chorrillo and Radazul. Vehicles that want to access these destinations must do so by making a U-turn at the Tabaiba link located at PK 10+000.
