SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 24 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Los Llanos de Aridane City Council has extended the hours of the Citizen Attention Office to manage the volcano aid for people affected by the loss of property, farms and businesses in the municipality. The office will open from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. this Tuesday, July 25, and Thursday, the 27th.
The mayor, Javier Llamas, explained that with this reinforcement from the municipal government group they seek to “facilitate the process and help people who cannot attend in the morning.”
The grant was published last Friday, July 21, in the Official Gazette of the Province and there is a period of 10 business days to present the required documentation.
The applicant must deliver the supporting documentation to the City Council records, either in person or through the electronic office. This is the DNI or NIE, the title deed or certificate of notoriety of the affected property -which proves the ownership of the property by the applicant for the aid on the date of production of the damage or affectation-, as well as the resolution of registration in the Single Registry as affected.
To qualify for the aid you must be over 18 years of age or be legally emancipated. Exceptionally, those minors who are responsible for children, those who come from a child protection institution, as well as minors who are orphaned by their father and mother (in the process of assigning a legal guardian) may request these municipal financial aid.
It is also necessary to be the owner of at least one property or farm affected by the eruption of the volcano. The affected properties or farms must be located in the municipality of Los Llanos de Aridane
Likewise, given the extraordinary situation of the granting of these subsidies, the beneficiaries are exempt from being up to date in the fulfillment of the tax or Social Security obligations imposed by the current provisions and from being up to date with the payment of obligations for reimbursement of subsidies.
