KFC, a leading brand of fried chicken, presents its new restaurant in Tenerife flying over the island with a commercial plane. To do this, he has customized one of the planes of the well-known local company, Canary Fly.
The brand wanted to take advantage of the location of its new establishment next to the Tenerife North airportone of the airports with the highest air traffic on the Islands Canary Islandsto present through one of the busiest internal flights, the opening of his new restaurant on the island.
For it, the brand has transferred its logo to a new communication medium giving rise to the creation of a striking design that can be read: “This way KFC”to indicate the location where the new establishment is located.
During the month of August, KFC will guide canaries to the location of the new KFC restaurant in The lagoon through airspace. The KFC plane will carry out a daily route that will connect some of the islands of the Canary Archipelago such as Lanzarote, La Palma, Fuerteventura and El Hierro with the northern airport of the island of Tenerife.

The new restaurant located in the municipality of La Laguna, specifically at Av. de la Candelaria 3, has an interior surface area of 280m2 with capacity for 72 people. Likewise, it makes available to the public an outdoor area with a 200m2 terrace and capacity for 102 diners.
With this new opening, KFC continues to consolidate its presence on the island of Tenerife Reaching the number of six restaurants and a total of 12 stores distributed throughout the Canary Islands. In addition, thanks to the brand’s commitment to the island, KFC has notably contributed to the generation of employment in the city with the creation of 30 new jobs.

On the occasion of the opening of the new KFC restaurant in La Laguna, the brand will give away during this month two free chicken strips to all those who manage to photograph the plane flying over the island and come to the restaurant to show this image.
