SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 21 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Cabildo de Tenerife will invest some 252,000 euros in improvement work at the Casa del Ganadero, located in the municipality of La Laguna, a facility that hosts livestock events such as livestock exhibitions, drag competitions or product fairs.

The Minister of the Primary Sector and Animal Welfare, Valentín González, pointed out that the works consist of conditioning the parking area and improving the space for events “and are intended to ensure that the Casa del Ganadero has the necessary infrastructure to meet the needs of the sector.”

The actions in the parking area consist of providing that space with canopies so that parked vehicles are protected, as well as a rainwater drainage network to avoid flooding.

On the other hand, in the space destined to celebrate livestock events, actions will be carried out such as the leveling of two platforms that allow the installation of removable tents when exhibitions or events are held, as well as the extension of the existing haulage ground, including the shading structure and the improvement of the loading dock.

Valentín González considers that this action, together with other lines of work that will be developed in the coming months, “confirm the commitment of the Cabildo with the primary sector since we are aware of the importance it has for our society.”
