WORKS TENERIFE | The connection of the TF-5 with the Cuesta de la Villa is closed

New work on the roads of Tenerife. It is the junction of the TF-5 in the Cuesta de la Villa. The Council of Tenerife will proceed to its closure to make improvements at the intersection with the TF-217. The works will begin this Monday, July 24 and will end on Friday, August 25.

During that period, access to Saint Ursula It will be carried out through links 28, 29 (La Quinta) and 32. The works include earthworks and demolitions, paving and signage.

For its execution, the road is closed in both directions. Access 31 from the TF-5 to the TF-217 (link to Cuesta de La Villa). The change of direction from the TF-5 in the link will be allowed for all passenger cars.

On the other hand, due to the execution of the ‘Cuesta de la Villa’ sanitation collector promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Environment (ACUAES) the TF-217 highway will be closed in the interurban section between PK 9+230 (at the intersection with TF-21) and PK10+820 (at the intersection with the branch to TF-5).

The detour will take the island road TF-21 (PK 0+000 and PK 2+720), with only residents of the area allowed access to the closed section of the TF-217.

Works in Padre Anchieta

The remodeling work on the Padre Anchieta roundabout is ongoing, and this will cause changes to the TF-24. The Council of Tenerife will carry out the construction work of the pedestrian walkway that will be located in that area.

The Padre Anchieta roundabout has become a place where queues are common, as up to seven vehicle entrances and exits are joined in the same roundabout. This means that in peak traffic hours the influx of vehicles be higher than you can bear. This is the main purpose of the works around this place, to improve the quality of traffic in this area.
