He Autonomous Sports Organization (OAD) of the City Council of La Laguna has announced today the postponement of the Cycling tour of Tenerife. This competition, which traditionally takes place at end of augustwill not be able to take place in this edition due to logistical and organizational difficulties.
Both the City Council and the Canarian Cycling Federation have reached a consensus to make this decision. The Cabildo de Tenerife has been duly informed in this regard.
The objective is to guarantee that the competition resumes in 2024 with all the necessary measures and recovers its brilliance and splendor, as reported by the Consistory in an official statement.
The councilor of La Laguna and president of the OAD, Badel Albelo, points out that, although the Tenerife Cycling Tour is a competition that covers several municipalities on the Island, the La Laguna City Council has been responsible for financing the organization of the event for several years .
