The Development Society capital, through its Placement Agency, manages 18 job offers in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with the aim of covering 69 vacancies. This was explained by the CEO of the capital entity, Carmen Pérez, who pointed out that “eleven Canary Islands companies are managing almost twenty job offers with our team and in which more than fifty jobs are required to be covered.” job”.

In this way, Pérez has detailed that “these are offers with very broad profiles among which mechanics, electricians, plumbers, vehicle painters, construction manager, bank customer manager, cleaning workers with a disability certificate, designers of specialized interiors in kitchens or delivery man, although there are also others that request profiles of customer support-customer service, or teachers for a training program in the tourism field, English for this sector, for the field of sales and marketing, as well as animation leisure activities and spare time.

“Other job offers that we have in force and that also stand out are those that correspond to the profile of junior consultants STEM field with specialties in mathematics, physics or engineering or in the business field with specialties in ADE, double degree and psychology”, indicated Carmen Pérez, who added that “it is an international consultancy that seeks to fill 35 vacancies in Santa Cruz, for what they require young, qualified consultants, recently graduated and without work experience”.

“Thanks to the fact that the Development Society is authorized as a Placement Agency by the Canary Islands Employment Service and the SEPE -explained Pérez- we can manage these job offers with companies that need to fill vacancies either in the Canary Islands, national or international territory” and argued that “all these offers have different registration deadlines, so it is very important that people who wish to opt for any of them review each of these deadlines and register for those that fit their profile through our Job Bank on the web www.empleasantacruz.com”.

“Among the services that we offer from the Placement Agency for companies -insists the councilor-, in addition to the free management of job offers, there is also the provision, free of charge, of spaces for these companies to carry out the processes of selection, in the event that they do not have facilities according to these issues”, while detailing that “we also have other personalized services for companies, such as basic advice on selection and human resources, as well as updated information related to to bonuses and incentives for hiring”.

“For their part, from the website itself, unemployed people registered on our portal can opt for the job offers they want, enroll in the training actions they want or request an appointment for employment advice, for example,” recalled Carmen Pérez. .

“The Employment Agency of the Development Society performs a very important task for the municipality and proof of this is that between January and June 2023 we have managed 158 job offers with 100 companies, in which they were requested to fill 318 vacancies and to from which we send 1,289 people”, stressed the CEO, who wanted to highlight that “not all companies report the final number of people they hire, but, according to the data we have, in this first semester there are more than fifty insertions of people who were in our Employment Exchange”.
