SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 13 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The University of La Laguna (ULL) has recently learned the number of first preference applications made by new students for the next academic year 2023/24 and the student body has chosen the Medicine degree well above the rest of the titles with a total of 1,287 applications for a quota of 130 places.
The degree in Nursing, which is in second place on this academic podium, registered 584 applications in first preference for a hundred places in its first year, followed by Psychology, with 523 applications for 200 positions.
These figures, which continue the ascending line of previous years, continue to establish Health Sciences as the branch selected by a greater number of people when it comes to training, collects a note from the ULL.
The University of La Laguna has obtained a total of 8,540 applications for its 46 degrees, exceeding more than a thousand requests compared to the previous year.
Apart from the health branch, other qualifications that are equally in demand among students are the specialties of Teacher in Primary Education (514 applications for 260 places), Law (439 applications for 270 vacancies) and Teacher in Early Childhood Education (385 applications for 195 positions). .
In addition, the degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences is noteworthy, which, being its second year since its establishment, has registered a high number of applications (384 in first preference for 60 places), thus refuting the high social demand it has this title among the student body.
The students, who for a few days have been able to find out individually if they are admitted or excluded in this part of the enrollment process, will be able to access the first list of places and waiting lists tomorrow.
In this sense, all those students who have obtained a place in first preference are called to register, which will remain open from this Friday at 10:00 a.m. until next Monday at 11:59 p.m.
All students who have not obtained a place on this first list will have to wait until July 20 to enroll in any of the preferences they have chosen and the period to do so will run from 10:00 a.m. on July 20 to 11:59 p.m. July 24.
August 1 will be the date on which all those places that, after the ordinary pre-registration, have become vacant, can be found, according to a note from the ULL.
On the other hand, the presentation of applications to this extraordinary call for enrollment will take place at the end of August, more specifically from the 24th to the 28th.
