The mayoress of Los Silos, Carmen Luz Baso (PSOE)directly assumes the areas of Equality and Diversity, Security, Modernization, Press and Communication, Culture and Educationin accordance with the distribution of powers recently approved in plenary session of the Los Silos Town Hall.
Andrés Yoel Rodríguez González, United Yes We Can (USP)will be first deputy mayor and will manage the areas of Transparency, Citizen Participation and Open Government, Legal Assistance and Human Resources. Luz Melisa Palenzuela Hernandez (PSOE)will manage the areas of Finance, Planning and Housing and will be second deputy mayoress.
Carmen Luz Baso (PSOE) highlights that the distribution of areas has been carried out “based on the design of the transformation project that is to be developed in Los Silos” and invites the opposition to join the “enormous task to be carried out”
The Infrastructure, Public Services and Sports areas will be directed by Francisco Antonio Sosa Contreras (PSOE)who will also be the third deputy mayor. Adam Angel Lopez Hernandez (PSOE) He will be delegate councilor for the areas of Local Development, Natural Environment and Water. María del Carmen Ramos Contreras, also from United Yes We Can, assumes the management of the areas of Social Welfare, Health and Animal Welfare. The Municipal Corporation is completed with the three councilors that make up the Canary Islands Coalition group and, two councilors of the Popular Partywhich form the Mixed Group.
