Maritime Rescue has rescued some 187 migrants in waters near the islands of Tenerife and The iron during the last hours of the afternoon of this Tuesday and the early hours of this Wednesday, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 Canary Islands.
Specifically, Salvamento moved to the wharf of Los Cristianos, in Arona (Tenerife)to 159 people, who upon arrival at the port were assisted by health personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) and the Red Cross, who transferred four migrants to hospitals.
