SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 3 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The former president of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Pedro Martín, has advanced today Monday after the proclamation of Rosa Dávila as the new president of the Island Corporation that the Socialist Party is not going to develop an opposition these four years “determined to entangle and do harm” but Yes, they are going to be “forceful and demanding” with the work of the new government group made up of the Canary Islands Coalition and the Popular Party.
In statements to the media, Pedro Martín warned that the PSOE will be “very present and very aware” of the projects that have been launched and is willing to collaborate with any initiative that they believe is good for Tenerife, and he hoped that continue with the “enormous work” that has been done in terms of highways or the boost that has been given to the island’s airports.
Martín stressed that, unlike the last term, there is now a government “broad enough” so that the initiatives can go ahead, and advanced that tomorrow he will start working at his job and will join the opposition as soon as the plenary sessions begin of the Cabildo: “So here I am going to be”, affirmed.
