Binter opens new routes and connects the Canary Islands with more than 30 destinations this summer

the airline binter inaugurates this Saturday its new direct connection between Canary Islands and Essaouira (ESU), in Morocco, which marks the beginning of the last activation phase of its summer programming, in which it will connect the islands with more than 30 foreign destinations.

The Canary Islands airline thus launches the most complete foreign program in its history, with more than 650,000 seats on up to 230 weekly flights on more than 45 routeswhich represents an increase of 12% compared to the summer of 2022 and almost triples the capacity operated the summer before the pandemic. This highlights the effort made by Binter to continue contributing to the improvement of air connectivity in the Canary Islandsin its commitment to consolidate its offer of direct flights to national and international destinations.

In the peak period of the season, Binter will operate an average of 257 daily flights on the 63 air routes carried out by the company both in the archipelago itself and in connections with foreign destinations.

First flights with Essaouira, Tangier and Ibiza

Binter inaugurated this Saturday the first of its three new destinations for the month of July. The plane bound for the coastal city of Essaouira took off from the Airport of Gran Canaria (LPA) at 11:20 a.m. to arrive at the Moroccan airport at 1:05 p.m., from where he returned at 1:45 p.m.

Be on Wednesday the 5th when the second of the new routes for this month opens, linking Gran Canaria (LPA) with Tangier (TNG), in Morocco; and on Thursday 6, the third, with Ibiza Airport (IBZ)completing the company’s offer with the Balearic archipelago, with flights to all its airports this summer.

Reactivations with Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Tenerife South from Madeira and with destinations in Morocco

Also during the day this Saturday the Canarian airline has resumed summer connections between Madeira Airport (FNC) and the airports of Fuerteventura (FUE) and Lanzarote (ACE) and between Tenerife Norte-Ciudad de la Laguna Airport (TFN) and Marrakech (RAK).

On Sunday, July 2, it will resume direct routes between Funchal (FNC) and Tenerife Sur (TFS) and also the direct connection between the Portuguese airport and Marrakech (RAK).

Finally, on Saturday, July 22, Binter will reactivate the direct connection with Fez (FEZ), which puts the icing on the cake for the largest route schedule in Binter’s history with the North African region closest to the Canary Islands, with more than 78,000 seats offered in up to 36 weekly flights that will cover 11 routes with eight destinations: Fez, Marrakech, Agadir, Guelmim, El Aaiún and Dakhla, to which Tangier and Essaouira are added.

This programming has become a reality thanks to the exceptional relationship that Binter maintains with the ONMT (Moroccan National Tourist Office) and is part of the implementation of a collaboration agreement between both parties with the aim of reinforcing their commitment to recovery of tourism and connectivity with the Canary Islands.

A passenger-focused service

Passengers on these routes will enjoy the differential advantages of the product offered by Binter, with a high-end on-board service focused on offering the best customer experience, which includes extensive benefits such as a courtesy gourmet appetizer during the journey and a comfortable trip aboard its modern fleet of ATR 72 and Embraer aircraft. The latter provide passengers with a highly comfortable experience, since the aircraft, with a 132-seat configuration, does not have a middle seat and allows a distance of 79 centimeters between the rows to improve the comfort of its occupants.

The company has introduced news in its on-board service for flights with Madeira and Marrakech and it will serve tuna and millo focaccia, on the routes that leave Madeira for the Canary Islands and Marrakech, and tuna with peppers, on the connections that leave from the Canary Islands to Madeira and Marrakech.

All these flights are already available through the different sales channels of the company: www.bintercanarias.comthe Binter app, telephone 922/928 32 77 00, travel agencies and airport offices, where you can check the conditions and prices of the different destinations.
