The Civil Guard has stopped at Tenerife a 33-year-old man who allegedly went to his neighbor’s home at dawn to threaten him with a firearm because his dog would not stop barking.
The arrest took place in the municipality of Güímar and the man has been charged as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of threats, illegal possession of weapons and deposit of weapons.
The events occurred in the early hours of the morning when the defendant appeared at the victim’s home carrying a weapon with which he threatened the victim, whom he accused that her dog was barking, the Civil Guard reported yesterday in a statement. According to the victim, the defendant had detonated two shots that he was able to dodge without causing any injury.
When the agents located the alleged perpetrator, he was also carrying an ax and in his house he had three other blank weapons rectified for live fire and two carbines.
