The forest fire that broke out this morning in the upper area of the Tenerife municipality of Los Realejos is stabilized, reported the island councilor Javier Rodríguez.

The fire has affected some four hectares of scrubland and, as specified by the counselor, the weather situation has meant that attacking the fire was not as complex as it would have been yesterday.
The fire has started on the Lolita track, in Icod El Alto, in a nearby area where a fire broke out in July 2022 that spread through several municipalities in the north of the island.
The forestry brigades of the Cabildo de Tenerife, two helicopters and media from the Los Realejos town hall and the State Administration have participated in extinguishing the fire.
