SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 26 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife is constituted this Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. with the presidency of Pedro Martín (PSOE), who repeats in office as representative of the most voted list with 11 councilors in the last elections.
Together with the socialist councilors, another ten from CC, eight from PSOE and two from VOX will also take office, which for the first time will have representation in the island corporation.
Despite the fact that Martín will renew his position as president, CC and PP have already reached an agreement to present a motion of censure –probably this same Wednesday– and govern the Cabildo for the next four years under the presidency of the nationalist Rosa Dávila.
The agreement between CC and PP includes the design of an insular Government with ten ministries in such a way that CC will manage the areas of Equality, Diversity, Finance and Strategic Projects; Presidency, Administration, Public Service, Territorial Planning and Strategic Planning; Natural Environment, Sustainability, Security and Emergencies; Mobility –includes the management of Titsa and Metropolitano de Tenerife–; Employment, Education and Youth and Research, Innovation and Development.
For the PP, with Lope Afonso as vice president, the areas of Tourism and Foreign Action are reserved; Social action; Inclusion and Volunteering; Industry, Commerce, Primary Sector and Animal Welfare; Culture, Museums and Sports and Municipal Cooperation, Institutional Relations and Housing.
