Almost all regions of Spain have been suffering from an intense heat wave for days that has raised thermometers above 40 degrees and has forced the decreeing of yellow and orange warnings for high temperatures in 27 provinces. Although The Canary Islands have remained outside the first heat wave of summerthe truth is that the good ends because the Islands will say goodbye to June with temperatures that will touch 40 degrees. The skies have dawned this Sunday with clouds and light rains are not ruled out late in the day, but the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) expects that the haze coming from Africa came to Fuerteventura and Lanzarote from the second half of the day.

The Aemet stands out in its weather forecast for Canary Islands that this Monday, June 26, 32 degrees will be reached in areas of the interior of Tenerife, Gran CanariaLanzarote and Fuerteventura. In addition, the wind will blow very strong in the peaks of Tenerife.

WEATHER THIS TUESDAY IN THE CANARY ISLANDS

The haze will affect all the islands of the Canary archipelago during the day of Tuesday June 27. Besides, temperatures will continue to rise, becoming notable on the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria. 34 degrees will be reached in the interior of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, 36 degrees on the southern slope of Tenerife and 38 degrees will be exceeded in high areas of Gran Canaria, and locally 32 degrees in the rest of the islands.

WEATHER THIS WEDNESDAY IN THE CANARY ISLANDS

This Wednesday, June 28, will be the day that the thermometers will touch 40 degrees in the Canary Islands. This day will continue to be marked by the haze. The dust in suspension coming from the Sahara will affect above all the midlands and highlands of the Islands. Regarding the temperatures, it is expected that the thermometers reach 34 degrees in the interior of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the 36 degrees on the southern slope of Tenerife and? 38 degrees are exceeded in the high areas of Gran Canaria. In the rest of the islands, it will be about 32 degrees.
