SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 21 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Agents of the Civil Guard belonging to the Main Post of Granadilla de Abona have instructed proceedings in which they investigate the 38-year-old woman, a neighbor of Granadilla de Abona, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of animal abuse after abandoning a dog on the street last June 10.
The events were observed by several neighbors who were in the area, who reproached her for her attitude and got the defendant to pick up the animal again in her own car.
The Civil Guard found the whereabouts of the woman thanks to citizen collaboration and the recording of a video that had a great impact on social networks.
The agents reported the facts to the duty court and verified the good health of the animal.
