The general secretary of the Canarian PSOE, Angel Victor Torreshas said this Wednesday that VOX’s support for a pact between CC and PP so that the nationalists maintain the mayoralty of Teguise (Lanzarote) is the “first great farce and lie” of the mandate.
In statements to journalists during the presentation of the candidates for the General Elections, he has reproached the general secretary of CC, Fernando Clavijo, who in the electoral campaign “said forcefully” that his party would not accept the support of VOX to form governments and that ” it can happen” in the municipality of Conejero, otherwise the mayor would be Marcos Bergaz (PSOE), who received the most votes in the elections.
Along these lines, he has criticized Clavijo because “he said one thing in the campaign” and now, “because of power, he does the opposite”, a fact that “cannot be forgiven by the citizenry.”
