SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 11 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The new coach of CD Tenerife, Asier Garitano, has arrived on the island this Sunday and tomorrow, Monday, he will be officially presented at 1:00 p.m. on the lower floor of the Tenerife Tourism offices, one of the sponsors of the Tenerife representative, located in the Fairgrounds.
CD Tenerife announced on May 29 the commitment to Asier Garitano for the upcoming 2023/2024 season. The Basque coach has extensive experience in professional football and comes to the blue and white entity with great enthusiasm and commitment.
Together with the new Tenerife coach, Pedro Hernández (second coach), Miguel Pérez (physical trainer) and Queco Piña (goalkeeper trainer) have joined the blue and white project as members of the coaching staff.
Upon his arrival at Tenerife North Airport, Asier Garitano admitted that he arrived “very happy and excited” and that he already wanted to come to the island and meet the people with whom he is going to work this season.
Likewise, he said that it is necessary to have “great hope that things can be done well”, since he recognizes that there is a “big base” that has been working in recent years and that he hopes to continue and improve it.
