The Pygmalion Association, within the framework of the CaixaProinfancia program of the ”la Caixa” Foundation, has awarded its prizes for the Kids Film Festival 2023 short film competition. The competition included the audiovisual works of 300 students between the ages of 3 and 16, at risk of exclusion , belonging to 21 educational centers and 37 open centers, which showed their vision of interculturality from multiple perspectives.
In total, 30 shorts were presented that address topics such as migration, fellowship, equality, play or love, among others. The contest tries to take advantage of a tool like cinema to work on the emotional and artistic expressiveness of minors, who, while learning a new vehicle to express their creativity, work on inclusion and solidarity values through cinematographic storytelling.
For the final gala, the participants have traveled from different parts of the island to have the opportunity to meet and celebrate together.
