The Canary Islands Coalition and the Popular Party in the municipality of Guía de Isora signed this afternoon a government agreement for the next four years, a governance pact that will make the nationalist Ana Dorta mayor, while the popular Carlos Álvarez Hernández will be the First Lieutenant of Mayor of the Town Hall.
Both the Canary Islands Coalition and the Popular Party have expressed their enormous satisfaction at reaching this governance agreement, a “stable pact that seeks to improve the well-being of the residents of Guía de Isora over the coming years.”
Nationalists and popular have made it clear that this agreement will mean a “change in the style and way of governing in the municipality” since the first objective will be “to provide stability to the municipal government.” Both formations have agreed to work together from transparency and coordination, always as a team and thinking of the residents of Guía de Isora.
In the coming days, both the CC and the PP in Guía de Isora will continue advancing in the agreement and in the formation of the new municipal government, which came out of the will of the polls on May 28 and which resulted in the vast majority represented by the 7 councilors of the Canary Islands Coalition plus the 4 obtained by the Popular Party.
