The Local Police of La Laguna has arrested a 68-year-old man after attempting to stab his ex-partner, a 72-year-old woman, during a dance that took place at the Guamasa Citizen Center last Thursday afternoon.
The individual is being accused of committing a crime of attempted homicide, with the aggravation of gender violence. The victim sustained a neck injury and was taken to the University Hospital of Canary Islands in a medicalized ambulance.
