An 81-year-old man was seriously injured this Thursday after being attacked with a knife in the middle of the street in the municipality of Guía de Isora.
The events occurred at 1:14 p.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert that a person had been attacked and required health care on the street. Tinguaro.
A doctor and a nurse from the Guía de Isora health center, together with SUC personnel, assessed and assisted the affected person, who had serious stab wounds, to evacuate him to the health center.
From there, once stabilized, he was transferred by medicalized ambulance to the Hospital de La Candelaria.
