The candidate of Unidas Se Puede for mayor of La Laguna, Rubens Ascanio, indicates that the “natural and logical pact that the public expects” is the one that the PSOE, Drago Verdes Canarias and their party (USP) can sign.

This agreement is the one that will be explored from the start by the negotiation commission designated by United We Can.

The formation will hold citizen assemblies in the coming days in which the aspects that will be put on the table in the negotiations will be defined, such as housing policy, the general plan, citizen participation, the development of sustainable mobility and the network of lanes bike, in addition to strengthening the infrastructures of towns and neighborhoods.

In this listening period, Unidas Se Puede advances that it will speak with other political groups in the municipal arc except Vox, whose “xenophobic hate speech and commitment to the setback in fundamental rights should not fit in La Laguna.”

This 28M the socialists achieved ten representatives, three more than in 2019; United Yes We Can, two councilors (three less), and Drago Verdes Canarias also enters with two. Meanwhile, CC achieved eight; PP, three; and Vox, two.
